This is my eyelash curler with half of my eyelashes still in it. I slipped while curling and let me tell you, it hurts. And now my eyelid is half bald.

One time I pinched my whole eyelid in that nasty little clamp and gave myself a black eye for the next week. I empathize with you…
I think you need to clean your eyelash curler haha. Here's my "tip of the day" - always curl before you apply mascara and for extra curl longevity heat up your curler with a blow dryer for a few seconds. Warning: this could lead to another post about burning your eyelid with said eyelash curler LOL!
